Resting – Sort Of

While we didn’t have anything in particular planned for today, it wasn’t a day of rest, either.

Updating Websites

Geoff spent a good portion of the day updating and upgrading a number of our websites. It’s a long and tedious job and it certainly won’t all get done today and may continue throughout the coming week.

Writing Posts

As you know, we got a little behind on our daily posts for this blog so I’ve been trying to get those caught up.

As I have mentioned before – traveling with only one computer SUCKS!

Fortunately, the resort we’re staying at has a couple of computers available for their guests’ use and I’ve been using one to type up a few of the posts. The only problem is that they’re PCs and not Macs! I hate PCs!

As we begin to prepare for the European part of our trip, we have started sorting things into what will stay in the car when we put it back in storage and what we will be taking with us.

It’s a lot harder than it sounds!

As we mentioned in a previous post, we are taking two backpacks with us that we bought at The North Face outlet while we were in Michigan, so space is limited to what we can stuff into them.

I’m sure the decision-making process will continue until the day before we leave.

Pool Time

This resort has a couple of pools and our unit overlooks one of them.

This afternoon we spent some time relaxing at the pool before making dinner and settling in for the night.

Geoff’s Note
We are putting $30 as the daily accommodation cost because that is the daily portion of the exchange fee we paid to reserve the unit. You might argue that we should include purchase price and maintenance fees as well but we pay those whether we exchange or not.
