We realized the other day that we have been digital nomads since before it was a thing.
When Geoff was working for a software company in California we bought a house on the Island of Eleuthera, in the Bahamas and he submitted his weekly “builds” over the Internet.
OK, so we weren’t “nomads” but we were more than halfway there.
Now we have started a new adventure where we spend half the year travelling around the world looking after other peoples pets. In return for our services, we get free accommodations and all the pet love we can handle.
When we first found out about this phenomenon we were amazed at how many people were doing it both as pet sitters and homeowners.
If you wonder how we pay for this, well, that’s where the digital part comes in. If you look at the left-hand end of the menu bar you will see a drop-down list of all our websites. We can maintain all these sites from anywhere in the world, as long as we have an Internet connection. If you click on an ad or purchase any product we recommend we make a small commission which helps to pay our bills.
In this section of the site, we will take a look at the places we visit, the pets we meet and how you can do the same if you want to.
